The design of this approximately 8,100 SF mountain contemporary home utilizes the unique and special location close to Vail’s Gondola One to capture the sensational views while maximizing the allowable area and height. The distinctive roof forms and massing play with the large windows and durable materials to create multiple interior and exterior gathering points at each level.
The home's exterior is wrapped in continuous insulation, providing an energy-efficient envelope. In addition, the natural stone, clear cedar siding, and grey metal siding further enhance the contemporary feel while being low maintenance.
Working with the developer, English and Associates, Inc, the home features all the amenities one would expect for luxury living, including a ski lounge, wellness room, custom Diamond Spa, and an oxygenated Primary Suite. In addition, the kitchen features an inviting palate of wood and stone. The covered outdoor room that the main level incorporates ceiling-mounted heaters to make the space functional for all 4 seasons.
