STEPHANIE LORD-JOHNSON

Stephanie has been a practicing architect in the Vail Valley since 1995. While her projects have been diverse, they are all consistently characterized by having a strong connection to the site, embodying the character of the place, and employing environmental sustainability practices. Stephanie’s broad range of project types and scales in the mountain resort setting include private custom residences, affordable housing, mixed-use commercial facilities, resort clubhouses and amenity buildings, and public emergency response facilities. She has successfully brought projects through the community approval process throughout the Vail Valley and administrated the Cordillera Valley Club and the Brightwater Golf Community Design Review Boards. Additionally, Stephanie has worked on projects for the Town of Vail and the Town of Avon as their architectural consultant.

Stephanie received a Bachelor of Architecture from Tulane University in 1990 and a Masters Degree in Architecture from Tulane University in Architecture in 1991. She has been a member of the Berglund Architects team since 2011.
