ALIX BERGLUND

BUSINESS MANAGER

Alix was brought into the world of architecture by her husband Hans when he started Berglund Architects in 2004. Working as a financial analyst for firms such as Starwood Vacation Ownership, JMP Asset Management, and Vail Resorts, Alix initially helped Hans with some business-related tasks in her “free time” before joining the team full-time in 2007 as the Business Manager. Decidedly left-brain dominant, Alix enjoys nurturing her creative side and learning from the designers at the firm while helping to keep all those artists in line. 

Originally from New Jersey, Alix received her B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1996 before moving to Colorado that same year. She received her M.B.A. from the University of Colorado in 2001 and her M.S. in Holistic Nutrition in 2012. And now her side hustle is as an Oncology Nutrition Consultant. Alix is a former board member of the Walking Mountains Science Center, a current board member of First Descents, and is active with the Dartmouth Club of Vail. In her free time, Alix loves playing in the mountains, traveling, and spending time with her two-legged and four-legged loves- Hans and Macey.
